I have been designing gardens in Sonoma County for more than a decade. Upon moving here, I became enchanted with our enormous heritage oak trees. This interest inspired me to study horticulture at Santa Rosa Junior College in order to learn how to preserve them in residential gardens.

With my degree in Fine Art from Brown University, I have always made aesthetics a priority in my work. The blending of my interests in art and nature led me to the Extension Program at the University of California at Berkeley, where I received a certificate in Landscape Architecture.

My primary goal when designing a garden is the creation of a landscape which resonates with the client. We all have different desires and needs for what makes us feel comfortable and happy. It is my job to help clients discover these things for themselves.

Design is a partnership between designer and client. I do not specialize in one style of landscape, because there is not one type of client. It is my job to help you find what is right for you. You landscape should not only enhance your home or business, it should enhance your life as well.
